INTRODUCTION The Eastern Turtlecreek Plan is located within Turtlecreek Township, east of the City of Lebanon and west of the Little Miami River. Today, this area consists mainly of agricultural and residential communities, and the corridor's infrastructure around these State Routes is adequate for the current traffic demand. The Eastern Turtlecreek Plan was formed with the purpose of creating a vision for future development specifically around the Genntown SR42 corridor and SR 123. The estate district within this area creates a sense of place and feeling for the community.
Vision Statement “The Rural Estate District in Eastern Turtlecreek Township serves as an active regional participant promoting environmental stewardship, sustainability and conservation development. The District encourages lifestyle and land use practices that protects the natural environment through agri-tourism, recreation, estate-sized lots and open spaces for wildlife habitat. This will be accomplished through careful land development and stewardship; thoughtfully planned and implemented parks, trails and roadways; as well as providing cost-efficient rural services like water and digital connectivity. The quality of life of its residents is encouraged through farm land preservation, planned business growth, and commitment to sense of community and sustainability of the district for future generations."
